Story Behind the Art:
This handmade Stocking is designed to add a beautiful touch to the holiday season. The gold khari print on this stocking is obtained through a long process that consist of printing patterns on textiles by means of incised wooden blocks. This printing technique is the earliest, simplest and slowest of all methods of textile printing. However, the result is highly artistic and the perfection of this method is almost unobtainable from any other printing method. The ikat pattern added gives brings an additional touch to this stocking.
The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in artwork, color/shade, size and overall design. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece and may not appear exactly as pictured, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.
